Business Analyst – Broadcast Equipment Logistics Transformation
An experienced Business Analyst is required to assess and define the transformation needed within a Logistics function currently operating with minimal systems support and a heavy reliance on spreadsheets. The engagement will focus on understanding current processes, data usage and inefficiencies and producing a clear, actionable report outlining the scope and requirements to either build or buy a logistics system. The successful consultant will combine strong analytical capability with a people-centric approach, working sensitively with the existing logistics team to ensure change is positioned as an enabler, not a threat.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess current logistics processes, data flows and spreadsheet-based operations
- Engage with logistics stakeholders to understand operational pain points and cost drivers
- Document current-state processes and data maturity
- Define future-state system capabilities for data ingestion, management and interrogation
- Capture functional and non-functional requirements for a logistics system
- Assess high-level build vs buy options, including scope, risks and considerations
- Produce a concise, board-ready transformation report with clear recommendations
- Work collaboratively and sensitively with the existing logistics team
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst on operational or logistics transformation initiatives
- Experience working in low-system or manual environments
- Ideally knowledge or experience with cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure etc..)
- Strong background in data-driven requirements definition
- Ability to translate operational detail into executive-level insight
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Pragmatic, outcome-focused and people-aware approach
- Comfortable operating independently in ambiguous environments
