Business Analyst – Broadcast Equipment Logistics Transformation

An experienced Business Analyst is required to assess and define the transformation needed within a Logistics function currently operating with minimal systems support and a heavy reliance on spreadsheets. The engagement will focus on understanding current processes, data usage and inefficiencies and producing a clear, actionable report outlining the scope and requirements to either build or buy a logistics system. The successful consultant will combine strong analytical capability with a people-centric approach, working sensitively with the existing logistics team to ensure change is positioned as an enabler, not a threat.

  • Engage with logistics stakeholders to understand operational pain points and cost drivers
  • Document current-state processes and data maturity
  • Define future-state system capabilities for data ingestion, management and interrogation
  • Capture functional and non-functional requirements for a logistics system
  • Assess high-level build vs buy options, including scope, risks and considerations
  • Produce a concise, board-ready transformation report with clear recommendations
  • Work collaboratively and sensitively with the existing logistics team

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst on operational or logistics transformation initiatives
  • Experience working in low-system or manual environments
  • Ideally knowledge or experience with cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure etc..)
  • Strong background in data-driven requirements definition
  • Ability to translate operational detail into executive-level insight
