Broadcast Engineer - Permanent - London - Onsite

We are looking for a Broadcast Engineer who has strong experience supporting glass-to-glass workflows ideally within a live environment. You will need to be comfortable under the pressures of live news and sports and be a pro-active team player, strong at communicating and understanding of the wider impact of what you do and what content is delivered.

This position is a Monday – Friday role, but live broadcast is always on and there might be times where you could be working unsociable hours on occasion. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has decided the broadcasting is more than just a day to day job, it is a commitment to providing high quality content to viewers.

Technical skills:

• SMPTE 2110, SDI, ASI, Compression (Distribution and Contribution technologies and standards)
• IP Networking, Fibre, Satellite connectivity
• Post production and media management systems
• Control and Monitoring solutions – (BNCS, Cerebrum, Dataminer)
• OS: Linus, Unix, Microsoft
• Cloud technologies

This role is based in a London Broadcast facility and requires the person to currently be eligible to work in the UK.
