Audio Engineer - Communications

Arrk Media has been engaged by a leading global live sports organisation to appoint an experienced Audio Engineer for a major communications infrastructure transformation.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in migrating a mission-critical communications system to a new technology platform, helping ensure reliable communications across live international events.

The Role

Working alongside the wider technical programme team, you’ll support the implementation, testing, integration and operational delivery of a new communications infrastructure, ensuring systems perform flawlessly in demanding live environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the migration of a large-scale communications platform
  • Configure, test and troubleshoot communications and audio infrastructure
  • Work closely with technical suppliers, project teams and operational stakeholders
  • Attend testing, rehearsals and live events to validate system performance
  • Identify and resolve technical issues quickly in high-pressure environments
  • Assist with commissioning, integration and ongoing optimisation of communications systems

About You

We’re looking for engineers with experience working in fast-paced, live operational environments, ideally within:

  • Live Broadcast
  • Live Events
  • Concert Touring
  • OB / Outside Broadcast
  • Major Sporting Events

Experience with one or more of the following is highly desirable:

  • Clear-Com, Riedel, RTS etc
  • RF communications
  • Audio networking and infrastructure
  • Intercom systems
  • Signal distribution and troubleshooting

You’ll be a proactive, hands-on engineer who enjoys solving technical challenges, remains calm under pressure and is comfortable travelling internationally to support testing and live deployments.

Contract Details

  • 6–9 month contract
  • Immediate start
  • London / Hybrid
  • International travel required between November and February to support testing and live events
