Service Account Manager - Oslo - Permanent
Arrk Media is supporting a leading media technology company in the search for a Service Account Manager to support major broadcaster and media customers across complex IP-based production environments.
This is a highly technical, customer-facing position suited to someone with a background in Broadcast IT, Network Engineering, Media Technology or Technical Support.
Key Experience Required
- Experience supporting Linux-based platforms (Red Hat, CentOS, Rocky Linux or similar)
- Strong troubleshooting skills across software applications and infrastructure
- Experience with Docker and containerised environments
- Understanding of IP networking, switching and network troubleshooting
- Exposure to SMPTE ST 2110, NMOS, AES67 and modern broadcast IP workflows
- Experience supporting customer-facing software platforms
- Planning and execution of software upgrades and platform maintenance
- Working knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Kubernetes
- Python scripting and/or Ansible automation experience is advantageous
- Previous experience in a technical support, systems engineering, network engineering or service delivery role
What You’ll Be Doing
- Acting as the primary technical contact for strategic customers
- Troubleshooting complex software, infrastructure and media workflow issues
- Supporting IP media production and transport platforms
- Planning and executing platform upgrades and testing activities
- Working closely with development, product and operations teams
- Building trusted customer relationships and ensuring SLA performance
